Watch: Nature's wonder – The bizarre sand river in Iraq!

New Delhi: Nature is indeed a mysterious force! Recently we saw the proof of this manifested through a rare weather phenomenon.

A video on internet that recently got viral depicts frozen river of ice water raging through the desert as a Iraqi man watches in wonder. It has been named as the 'sand river'.

This rare phenomenon that brought rain and hail storms to an otherwise hot and dry area in Iraq, caused a 'river' of frozen water to stream through the desert.

These heavy rains over the past few weeks have triggered floods that killed dozens of people in Iraq and caused widespread damage in Egypt, Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
